We are searching for scraper operators for our grading team with a minimum of three years of experience around grading work. Our fleet of equipment at Metro Construction is the best of its class in this industry. Our goal is to have all employees home with their family each night. Most job sites are located within 30 miles of Sioux Falls giving our employees the ability to go home every night.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Interprets information on grade stakes
• Cuts and spreads fill material with scraper
• Cleaning, lubricating, and performing regular safety checks on equipment
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used in accordance with the company safety program
• Performs other tasks as needed

Basic Qualifications

• Prior experience operating large scale heavy equipment
• Ability to follow procedures with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn GPS on equipment
• Maintain dependability and responsibility to be at work on time
• Ability to work extended hours during the construction season
